When you know a beautiful place, what do you do? Most of us recommend it to our friends & family, right? Well, when I visited East TN I fell in love of the area and want to talk more about it.
I was born in Peru and I have been married to my soulmate Tom for almost 13 years. He is American and was living and working In Peru when we met. Before meeting him I had visited several cities in the USA including Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Washington DC, New York, the list is long. When Tom and I got together we traveled to other cities like Tucson, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Antonio and others. However, I never had a chance to visit Tennessee and about the only thing I knew about the state was that Elvis was from Memphis and lived at Graceland.
My husband had lived in Knoxville in the 1980’s and when he retired we decided to consider it as a retirement option. We visited Knoxville and the Tellico Lake area in 2014 and just fell in love with it. We have lived here since 2016 and really I’m amazed that more people in the USA don’t know much about East Tennessee. But….it is never too late.
That is why I have created this blog. I want to promote East Tennessee for what it is; an excellent place for living whether you are retired or still working. I’ll explain in some detail this wonderful part of our country and an incredible destination to achieve your lifestyle goals.
